An Instant

It took an instant,
All it took was an instant,
To fall in love,
With your exuberance, your simplicity,
Your flamboyance,
Your heart and your soul,
And with you as a whole.

All it took was an instant,
To know that I’ve found myself again,
In all the truth and honesty.
By all the things that I hold dear,
An instant was all it took.

The myriad of emotions you stir,
Within my deranged soul,
Through the ocean of warmth you hold,
Within those tiny loving spheres,
Making me melt away into an,
Unknown world of bliss.
The waves of serenity you thrash,
Upon my wavy sandy thoughts,
Of the ineluctable mystifying future,
An instant was all It took,
My love,
To know that you were mine,
And I was yours.

Green

Through the lonely road I walk,
Mystified by the unseen beauty,
That which is felled by the ignorant those,
Whose minds are infinitesimally small,
To comprehend the tiniest large.

The lush green grass,
The dew kissed leaves,
The moist brown bark,
Which are so close to the heart,
Yet so far.

A personal panacea they are,
To the gifted few,
Who effortlessly imbibe,
The abstract view.

An hour with you,
Is worth the wasted time,
For I've gained the peace of mind,
Worth a lottery shot.

Oh mighty Green!
You are a true beauty,
The ultimate guide,
The treasure chest of symbolisms,
The storehouse of morals.

Oh mighty Green!
What an imbecile I'd be without you.
