Amidst these four walls lay so many words unsaid
Words that the world can't hear
Amidst these walls is how I am in my true sense
Amidst these four walls is where I've been through my toughest times
Amidst these four walls is where I've learnt the meaning of sacrifice
It's kind of ironic isn't it?
That things made of concrete have access
To the deepest parts of us
For they witness what we feel and what we know
Our madness and our happiness
Our sorrow and our adversities
A place which knows us inside out
Is something non living
Yet so quintessential to our life
These four walls of concrete
What I call my home
Is the place where you'll find me
In my truest sense
Be ready to get surprised
For when you know what they hid all along
You might know someone you never think you knew
For my home
Is where my thoughts belong
And I am where my thoughts lie
Words that the world can't hear
Amidst these walls is how I am in my true sense
Amidst these four walls is where I've been through my toughest times
Amidst these four walls is where I've learnt the meaning of sacrifice
It's kind of ironic isn't it?
