The dreamy thoughts I had
The picturesque pictures I've seen

The smile I hold on to my face
The happiness radiating back through me
Is everything but a mask I cover and protect myself with
For the more I expose my true me
The more I fear of losing the empire I've built
For the more I expose my true me
The more I fear of becoming vulnerable
And the more I fear of my impenetrable walls breach
The impenetrable walls of steel I once thought of them to be
But when I place myself around you
The whole of my pretense just goes away in a jiffy
Such is your capability
In deciphering this masquerade of mine as a facade.
When you're around me
It's like they say
The drama of my life comes into life.
